On 25 November 2026 in Mogadishu, universities, the Ministry, partners, banks, employers and students meet around two practical outcomes for students and graduates.
Veynuus will host its first Industry Talk, Writing the Next Chapter: The Future of Higher Education in Somalia, on 25 November 2026 in Mogadishu.
The talk is a private-sector initiative built around what students, graduates and young people need. It brings together universities, the Ministry, development partners, banks, employers and students for one practical day.
Two outcomes
- A knowledge-sharing platform that connects students and graduates with real data, lessons, internships and training from major projects.
- A pooled fund with banks and investors to back student ideas and start-ups, with simpler access rules than traditional finance.
The day
1 day · 2 sessions · 5 conversations. The morning, with universities and the Ministry, covers standards and quality, financing, and graduates, skills and jobs. The afternoon, with partners, covers knowledge sharing from major projects and the investment opportunity for students. The day opens with a Veynuus research brief and closes with partnership pledges and a 12-month action plan.
Attendance is by invitation. See the full event page or write to partnerships@veynuus.com to request an invitation.
